THEATRE OF THE OPPRESSED WORKSHOP

'Theatre  of the Oppressed' is a system of 
physical exercises, games, image  techniques 
and specific improvisations.  The objective 
is to develop and reshape the art of theatre, 
by turning it into a tool for  the comprehension 
of social and personal problems and the search 
for  their solutions.
Everybody  wellcomed, actors and non actors.
Dates: Every Saturday 
from 8th of October to 10th of December

Time: from 2pm till 4.30 pm

Price for the term: £80 - £60 conc

Tereza Briggs-Novaes:

Tereza was born in Rio de Janeiro and has a 
Bachelor degree in Drama from  the University 
of Rio de Janeiro. She's been working as an 
actress, director, and playwright for the last 
30 years. She worked in Brazil with Augusto 
Boal, Zé Celso Martinez  Correia and Luiz 
Mendonça.  In London she trained with Desmond 
Jones  & Phillipe Goulier, as well as directing 
many plays. Since 2004 she's been running 
'Theatre of the Oppressed' workshops in 
different cities in Europe and Brazil.
